Thank you for joining DChoreo!
We are delighted to welcome you to our dance family. Our aim is to provide quality training in Santiniketan Style Rabindra Nritya, Manipuri Dance, Semi-Classical Dance, and Abhinaya in a positive, disciplined, and inspiring learning environment.
Please read the following guidelines carefully.
1. Class Schedule
Classes are conducted according to the schedule shared during enrollment.
Students are requested to join the class at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time.
Any changes to the class schedule will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
2. Fee Rules
Monthly fees must be paid between the 1st and 7th of every month.
All fees are payable in advance.
Late payments may result in temporary suspension of classes until payment is received.
Fees once paid are generally non-refundable and non-transferable.
3. Missed Classes & Rescheduling
If you are unable to attend a class, kindly inform us in advance.
Missed classes without prior notice are generally not eligible for replacement.
If DChoreo cancels a scheduled class, a replacement class will be arranged.
4. Online Class Requirements
Students are requested to ensure the following before joining a class:
Stable internet connection.
Device with a working camera and microphone.
Comfortable dance attire.
Clean and safe practice area with sufficient space.
5. Parent Guidelines (For Children)
Parents may assist children with technical setup before the class begins.
During the class, children should be encouraged to learn independently.
Parents are requested to avoid unnecessary interruptions unless assistance is required.
6. Practice Responsibility
Regular practice is essential for continuous improvement. Students are encouraged to revise and practice the lessons taught during each session.
7. Recording & Copyright
Recording, downloading, or sharing live classes without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
All choreography, lesson plans, music edits, teaching materials, videos, and learning resources are the intellectual property of DChoreo.
8. Photography & Promotional Consent
With the consent of the student or parent/guardian, DChoreo may use photographs or short video clips from classes, workshops, rehearsals, or performances for educational, promotional, website, and social media purposes.
9. Certificate Policy
Certificates (where applicable) will be issued only after:
Successful completion of the course or workshop.
Meeting the required attendance criteria.
Completion of any assessment, where applicable.
Clearance of all applicable fees.
10. Student Code of Conduct
All students are expected to:
Be punctual and attend classes regularly.
Respect teachers and fellow students.
Follow class instructions carefully.
Maintain discipline throughout the session.
Use polite and respectful language.
Any inappropriate behaviour, harassment, bullying, discrimination, or repeated misconduct may result in suspension or cancellation of enrollment without refund.
11. Technical Issues
Students are responsible for maintaining a stable internet connection and a suitable device. Classes missed due to personal internet or technical issues are generally not eligible for rescheduling or refund.
12. No-Show Policy
Students are expected to join classes on time. If a student arrives more than 15 minutes after the scheduled class time without prior notice, the class may be considered a No-Show and may not be rescheduled or refunded.
13. Batch Change Policy
Requests for changing batches will be considered only if seats are available and with prior approval from DChoreo. Batch changes cannot be guaranteed.
14. Festival & Holiday Policy
Classes affected by major festivals, public holidays, teacher emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances may be rescheduled. Students will be informed of the revised schedule in advance whenever possible.
15. Dress Code
Students are requested to:
Wear comfortable and appropriate dance attire.
Keep long hair neatly tied.
Practice barefoot unless instructed otherwise.
Avoid wearing heavy jewellery or accessories during class.
16. Health & Safety
Students should ensure they are physically fit to participate in dance classes. Practice should always be conducted in a safe environment with sufficient space. DChoreo shall not be responsible for injuries resulting from unsafe practice conditions or failure to follow the instructor’s guidance.
